Marconi's Carnarvon Station 1912-1939
A very detailed article written John Rowlands, Foreword by Karl-Arne Makstrom, describes the Marconi Carnarvon’s 200 kW timed spark transmitter in 1918. This was the very transmitter that sent the first, non-relay, direct wireless messages between Wales and Australia on September 22nd of that year.
