26B01: Obituary: Derek Goodman

Derek Peter Goodman has sadly passed away on the 25th October 2025 at the age of 93.
Both dad & daughter (Christine Buckberry) had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Marconi Veteran's Association Dinner.  He always looked forward to attending this event for quite a number of years & so did I. We found the Dinners enjoyable & the speakers very informative too.  I will hopefully be able to attend many more of the Marconi Veteran's Association as an associate member. I talked with one lady who was an associate member & she enjoyed the gathering each year.

I will continue to support the Marconi Veteran's Association for a long time.  One of my uncles attends too - Frank Savill, who worked at Marconi Radar ( I believe), so I'll have to keep an eye on him.
